Fusion Sushi Rolls.
I had some left over rice, a package of northwest style smoked salmon and some really delicious chèvre goat cheese. I always enjoy making sushi to welcome the season of Spring; so I decided to put all these yummy foods together into my Fusion Sushi Rolls! My Fusion Sushi Rolls are amazingly delicious and nutritious; prepared with organic nori sheets and filled with organic cucumbers, peppers and avocados! Enjoy!!
I am not going to give you amounts to use, just make as many as you want!
Sushi rice(season short grain rice with a dash of shichimi togarashi, mirin and rice vinegar)
Several organic nori sheets, I cut them in half or thirds
A few leaves of organic romaine, cut in pieces
A bit of chèvre goat cheese
A package of northwest style smoked salmon, cut into pieces
Slices of organic mini cucumbers
Slices of organic baby bell pepper
Slices of organic avocado
Water to seal the nori
Lay the nori sheets flat on a work surface
Place a piece of romaine on each sheet
Pile some sushi rice over the romaine
Spoon some chèvre goat cheese on top of the rice
Add a piece of smoked salmon over the chèvre
Top with a slice of cucumber, pepper and avocado
Wet each end of nori sheets with the water
Now gently roll and seal with more water
