Maifun with Spicy Seared Tuna and StirFry
So stir fry is great these days when you have just a bit of this and that to chop up and use! I pulled a tuna steak out of the freezer and seasoned it with a spice blend of ginger, sesame and Korean red pepper flakes( any oriental spice blend will work), tamari sauce and toasted sesame oil. I chopped up a piece of ginger, a few shiitake mushrooms, a couple of organic green onions and red bell pepper left in the fridge and I added them to the marinade. One bunch of organic broccolini and a few organic grape tomatoes added to the pan, at the very end, rounded out the stir fry( but any veggie you have left can be used). I love maifun rice noodles because they hold up and never get mushy; just pour boiling water over them in a pan, wait ten minutes and drain them!
Put a drop or two of grapeseed oil in a fry pan, heat on medium high
Add the tuna steak and it’s marinade
Throw in the marinated veggies
Flip the tuna and stir up the veggies
Add the chopped broccolini and grape tomatoes
Turn off the burner
Serve the tuna and stir fry over the maifun noodles
That’s it! Enjoy my Maifun with Spicy Seared Tuna and StirFry with a Riesling wine! My Maifun with Spicy Seared Tuna and StirFry is just delicious! By the way, I am not giving you a formal recipe, You can do it!
